Position Summary
Responsible for technical installation and commissioning support to clients and service teams nationally with regards to smart motor equipment. The role requires up to 75% of time outside and onsite work.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide technical installation and commissioning support to clients and service teams nationally with regards to smart motor equipment and application support
- Complete rotating equipment alignment to nominated tolerances using dial indicators or laser equipment
- Provide on-site start-up services and troubleshooting to customers within the United States and document all procedures and recommendations and provide reports
- Demonstrate fault finding and self-management to avoid unnecessary breakage or lost time through incorrect installation techniques
- Troubleshoot smart motor and associated equipment
- Assist with assembly of smart motors and associated equipment including manufacturing and fabricating along with the repair of modifications associated with smart motor equipment
- Follow written instructions and complete all nominated checkpoints before handover of paperwork
- Provide timely advice to Operations Manager of field service tooling and consumables stock deficiencies to allow replacement
- Maintain tools and equipment in operating condition and advise supervisor of deficiencies
- Contribute to a positive safety culture throughout the business by following safety processes, policies and legislation along with support for new initiatives
- Follow and set a positive example for all ITT Code of Conduct rules and guidelines and ensure commitment to ITT's vision, mission and values and act in accordance with the Working with One Another program
- Adhere to all company rules, processes, policies and requirements
Position Requirements
Electrical Engineering Diploma or higher desirableTrade certificate in Electrical or electronics desirableRestricted Electrical License desirable or 4 years experienceAdvanced electrical troubleshooting capabilityBe capable to read & interpret both schematics and Piping and Instrumentation diagramsBe experienced with process & motor control methodologiesMinimum 4 years practical experience and knowledge with various motor typesPreventative Maintenance & Reliability experience desirableStrong English language skills both verbal and writtenExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsCommitment to ongoing professional developmentBasic computer and Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel and WordUnderstand and implement quality principlesEngagement in modern safety principlesProfessional appearance and approachAvailability to travel to support planned business growthEqual Pay Act Statement

Equal Pay Act Range
$81,300 - $121,500 annually
