Job Description

PURPOSE AND SCOPE :

The PT Assistant I, Computer Research (G) supports a professor or principal investigator on a specific project, which can involve a wide range of tasks from data collection and analysis to software development. This role is common in university departments or research labs and offers hands-on experience in the field.

This is a temporary, grant-funded position. Continuation of the position from one academic year to the next is dependent upon continued grant funding.

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

Hourly Pay Rate is $12.14.
