Government Relations Senior Manager, Naval Aviation Programs

The Government Relations Senior Manager, Naval Aviation Programs, reports to the Director, Naval and Coast Guard Aviation Programs, in Crystal City. He / she supports the Director and Mission Area VP, and interfaces with the Navy and Marine Corps Legislative Team in the following manner :

• Work closely with United States Navy senior staff, OSD, and other government agencies to coordinate and inform on Lockheed Martin acquisition, logistics, and sustainment programs.
• Fully support company legislative efforts for Lockheed Martin programs.
• Assist the Director, Naval and Coast Guard Aviation Programs, in the formulation of strategic priorities for the Naval Aviation portfolio, and in developing and executing the specific plans, goals, objectives and accompanying enabling strategies that support the Annual Strategic Action Plan.

Specific Job Description This position will report to the Director, Naval and Coast Guard Aviation Programs, in a supporting role for all Naval Aviation programs. Specific duties include :

This is an on-site (4 days per week) position located at our Crystal City, Arlington facility. This position is also on a 9 / 80 schedule, with every other Friday off, as business allows.

Ability to Work Remotely : Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position : 9x80 every other Friday off
