Responsibilities Work in a critical access hospital Labor and Delivery unit Covers Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) patients Expected nurse to patient ratios are 1 : 1, 1 : 2, and 1 : 4 Night shifts, 3x12 hours, from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Weekend rotation required every third to every other weekend On-call responsibilities are required Floating between units and other facilities within the state is expected Epic is the charting system used Role involves caring for patients throughout all stages of labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum Scrub color is flexible, with OR scrubs provided as needed No fees for parking Pre-employment modules required before start, average of 16 hours to complete Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers and must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Minimal to no RTO is allowed; all requests must be submitted up front Annual module completion is required Local candidates are accepted at a lower pay rate Holiday coverage may be required Requirements Active MT or compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years of recent LDRP RN experience required Current NRP and fetal monitoring certifications required Epic charting experience is preferred Willingness to float within the facility and state Must provide 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628043.
