Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state-certified CNA within four months of starting. Completion of yearly competency testing and maintenance of continuing education credits (minimum of 12 hours annually). For applicable states, certification with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry may be required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet medical qualifications if classified as a Sanford Category II Driver. Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated nursing team on the Evening shift (2 : 30 PM - 10 : 00 PM), with every other weekend required.
Your Responsibilities Will Include :
- Providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Delivering age-appropriate care tailored to the physical and psychological needs of residents.
- Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and obtaining vital signs.
- Supporting residents in transferring, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques.
- Creating a positive dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.
- Documenting resident interactions and communicating any changes to the charge nurse.
- Participating in wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident engagement.
