Job Summary and Qualifications

Provide patient care based on a treatment plan as directed by Occupational Therapist. Responsible for all aspects of patient care including plan of care, education of patient / family, communication with physicians, and documentation of patient care. Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.

Duties include but not limited to :

• Performs Occupational Therapy interventions ensuring they are thoroughly completed in a timely manner.
• Documents all therapy interventions according to policy using function scores.
• Provides patient progress reports to physicians.
• Attends all planning meetings.
• Assists with preparation of daily schedules and prioritization.
• Communication daily with interdisciplinary team.
• Enters patient charges
