In the role of Senior Project Manager - Engineering , we'll count on you to lead and deliver multi-discipline projects with technical complexity, manage teams, and ensure client satisfaction and project success throughout the lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate work of single or multi-discipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close-out)
- Manage all aspects of large multi-discipline or medium-sized projects with high technical complexity and a large staff
- Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
- Establish and maintain client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
- Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with other staff and stakeholders
- Coordinate staffing and workload through the project life cycle and ensure on-time deliverables
- Track financials and coordinate and adjust work effort to meet budget and schedule
- Collaborate with Accounting, Operations and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
- Implement QA / QC procedures
- Supervise large project staffs and mentor less-experienced Project Managers
- Perform other duties as needed

Master's degreePMP certificationExperience managing projects for Federal ClientsStrong client-service record and CPARS ratingsExperience developing and managing diverse teamsWillingness to travel, including overnight tripsCommitment to HDR's core values of quality work and continuous improvementRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering10 years related experienceMinimum 5 years of project management experienceProfessional engineering license (e.g., PE or P.Eng) recognized by the licensing board for the position locationMS Office and MS Project experience (Access a plus)Demonstrated leadership, business development and strategic planning skillsActive participation in HDR's employee-owned cultureCompensation and Location
The expected compensation range depends on skills, experience, education, and location. Examples include :
Northern California : $142,758.00 – $231,750.00Southern California : $142,758.00 – $213,210.00Las Vegas, NV : $129,780.00 – $185,400.00Primary Location : United States-California-Folsom
Other Locations : United States-Arizona-Phoenix, United States-California-Los Angeles, United States-Utah-Salt Lake City, United States-Nevada-Las Vegas, United States-California-Walnut Creek, United States-California-San Diego, United States-California-Irvine
