Job Title : Drafter Location : Birmingham, Alabama Type : 12 month Contract Compensation : $32.00 hourly Contractor Work Model : Onsite Hours : 7am-3 : 30pm M-F (At the manager’s discretion) System One is currently seeking a Drafter on a 12 month contract position located in Birmingham, AL. Drafter Responsibilities : CAD drafting of transmission line centerline right-of-way, boundary, topographic, and land tie surveys. Responsible for interpreting and writing “metes and bounds” or “centerline” descriptions for assigned projects. Support the survey field crews and office personnel by, but not limited to, researching existing survey and real estate records, contacting local and state agencies for right-of-way information, and transmitting completed projects. Drafter Requirements : 2-5 years of drafting experience. An associate’s degree in drafting and design is preferred.
