Location : 19633 IH-10 West, San Antonio, TX 78257

Schedule : 4 x 10s and every other Saturday, 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. (full time)

Pay : $17.00 - $19.00

Requirement : At least 1 year of experience in a hospital environment.

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be a believer in high quality veterinary medicine and patient carewith the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include but are not limited to :

• Maintaining medical records.
• Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.
• Filling prescriptions.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Anesthesia monitoring.
• Patient recovery.
• Radiology assistance.
• Venipuncture.
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for boarded and hospitalized pets.
