Immediately Interviewing Pipe Fitters (Per Diem)

Location : Shop in Summerville, SC 29486

Position Summary

This role involves the installation, assembly, fabrication, maintenance, and repair of stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems in industrial and construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, assemble, and maintain stainless and carbon steel piping systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and schematics
  • Cut, thread, and hammer pipe using saws, torches, and threaders
  • Inspect installations for compliance with specifications and safety standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and trades for timely completion

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with stainless and carbon steel piping
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong knowledge of pipefitting tools, equipment, and safety procedures

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to read and work from blueprints
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

    • Work Environment

  • Heavy industrial plants and new construction sites
  • Potential job sites include Ingevity, Ineos, and Kinder Morgan in Charleston, SC

    • Job Type

    Contract to Hire (5 Months ? Permanent) - raises after 5 months and every April

    Pay range depends on experience (25-28 - most jobs are 90 / Day Per Diem), see below

    Per Diem Details

  • Varies by job distance : $30$120 / day
  • Up to $120 / day for out-of-state travel
  • Travel may include short-term assignments in Texas or Washington State
  • At 28HR with per diem before overtime (50 / Day - 34.25, 80 / Day - 38.00, 120 / Day - 43 / HR) - raises after going direct plus every April.

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 / hr.
