About The Position

Must-Have :

• ICU RNs will float between various ICU units and may be asked to float to medical-surgical units if needed.
• The first week will be orientation and precepting on day shift.
• Weekend requirement : Every other weekend, 2 weekends per month.
• Time off requests : Limited to 5 days total with no more than 2 consecutive days; no requests on weekends or holidays.
• Staff must comply with floating policies and are required to float as per facility needs.

Description :

The position requires an RN specializing in ICU.

Shifts are scheduled as three 12-hour night shifts.

All RNs must follow specific floating guidelines to meet staffing needs.

Candidates will float among multiple ICU units and may be required to assist in medical-surgical units.

The facility operates as a mandatory float environment.

Orientation consists of 24 hours.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing ventilated patients and performing critical care procedures.

Knowledge of arterial line management and titration of intravenous medications is essential.

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are necessary for managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction.

RNs will need to provide excellent patient care in a dynamic and often high-pressure environment.

The facility has a focus on providing comprehensive and advanced care to critically ill patients.

Demonstrated proficiency in computerized documentation and familiarity with various monitoring and therapeutic equipment is required.

All candidates must be responsive to communication and timely in providing any required documentation.
