About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Description :

Responsible for input into the formulation of the patient care plan.

Responsible for attending weekly clinical staffing and review of patient treatment plans.

Directly responsible for medication education with all patients and families.

Assures patients' emotional and mental observations are reported to medical and clinical staff and documented accurately in the patient chart.

Conducts teaching and educational groups as scheduled.

Trains LPNs and MHTs in charting, vital signs, patient routines, and de-escalation techniques.

Actively participates in performance improvement teams or other task forces of the unit.

Accepts lecture, educational, or marketing assignments as made by management.

Maintains Therapeutic Options certification up to date.

Serves as a positive role model for patients and employees through language, dress, hygiene, and behavior.
