As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. This post requires a valid driver's license and may involve driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Report and document any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences, in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns as they arise.
  • Remain alert and attentive while on duty, maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned area.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
