Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Forklift / Truck Loader. The core hours are 8 : 30am to 5pm. The hourly rate for this position is 27.17 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do :

• Operate a forklift to move components, supplies & finished goods
• Load and unload trailers as required
• Pick and pull stock for delivery
• Organize pallet area
• Organize material storage locations in front yard, inside the building on a regular basis
• Complete daily forklift inspection
• Primary owner for recycling duties for assigned area
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise
• Keeps work areas clean and safe
• Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including :
• Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas
• Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to : layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor
• Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility as needed
• Other various duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
