What You Will Do :

As a Senior Systems Engineer at Independent Software, you will guide the design, analysis, and enhancement of IT systems with a strong focus on security certification and supportability. You will participate in full lifecycle development, conduct technology studies, and ensure that systems meet both technical and mission requirements. Key Responsibilities :

• Identify and resolve issues in existing systems while designing and implementing new solutions
• Lead enhancements and modernization efforts for existing IT systems
• Participate in the design and development of next-generation secure IT architectures
• Translate customer needs into technical requirements that align with available commercial solutions
• Evaluate and allocate requirements throughout the development cycle for Information Assurance (IA) support
• Apply systems engineering principles including ITIL and SEI / CMM to all phases of work
• Work with a range of technologies including :

Telecommunications protocols (TCP / IP, OIS / CMIP / X25)
