Responsibilities

The Community Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. As an on-site leader, you will supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with Asset’s policies and procedures, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.

• Personnel Management
• Regular / daily onsite attendance is required
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff using consistent techniques and company directives
• Ensure staff effectiveness through ongoing training, coaching, counseling, and guidance in line with Asset training benchmarks
• Complete weekly / daily office and maintenance staff schedules and assignments
• Address performance issues, document appropriately, communicate with direct supervisor and HR, and terminate when necessary
• Promote harmony and quality job performance through supportive leadership
• Ensure staff compliance with Company policies and procedures
• Financial Management : aim to maximize net operating income through cost control and revenue / leasing improvements; develop budgets / forecasts; monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges; monitor vendor invoices; ensure timely property closeout and accurate financial reports
• Strategic Leasing Management : develop yearly marketing plan, implement leasing strategies, ensure lease signing / documentation, and maintain reporting accuracy
• Resident relations : address resident complaints and requests, implement retention programs, show / lease / move-in prospective residents
• Administrative & Maintenance Management : ensure accurate reporting, lead emergency responses, monitor service request turnaround, maintain property appearance, and manage resources and supplier bids

Salary Range : $85,000 per year to $90,000 per year.
