Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field with special education endorsement
• Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Special Education Licensure
• Experience working with students with significant support needs preferred
• Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies for students with disabilities
• Understanding of IDEA regulations, IEP development, and implementation
• Skills in behavioral intervention and positive behavior support strategies
• Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment
• Ability to work collaboratively with paraprofessionals and support staff
• Strong communication skills for working with families and multidisciplinary teams
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Valid background check and fingerprint clearance required
