$100 to $110 per hour

About The Position

📍 Location : Coos Bay, Oregon

🩺 Position : Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Oncology

📆 Start Date : As soon as possible

🕐 Schedule : Ongoing locum coverage | Sunday–Saturday workweek

📄 Call : 1 : 3 or 1 : 4 rotation

🔍 Job Overview :

Seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner with recent outpatient oncology background to provide follow-up care for solid tumor patients on active treatment or in survivorship. No inpatient rounding required. You'll work collaboratively with 2 medical oncologists and 2 APPs on-site. This is not an autonomous role—supervision from medical and radiation oncologists is available.

🏥 Clinical Details :

Setting : Outpatient oncology – infusion center and clinic

Patient Volume : 10–12 per day (NP-specific)

Support : Infusion nurses, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists

EMR : Epic with Beacon

Trauma Level : III

Patient Population : Adults and geriatrics

Orientation : 4-hour unpaid Epic training + orientation at ½ hourly rate

OT after 40 hrs / week; holidays and OT paid at 1.25x

Medical malpractice must be included in rate

Job Requirements

✅ Requirements :

Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (prior to start)

Recent outpatient oncology experience (REQUIRED)

Oregon license (or willing to obtain)

AONCP certification (REQUIRED)

BLS (REQUIRED); ACLS preferred

NPDB Self-Query (REQUIRED)

Clean background / No malpractice history

DEA (verbal confirmation at name clear)

CAQH login and password required at offer

Must meet medical staff or allied health professional credentialing standards
