Test Engineer

Position Summary

An experienced, creative engineering professional responsible for designing, programming, verifying, and implementing automated test systems for our valves, pumps and sub-systems. The Test Engineer (TE) provides leadership in design and test support activities, including providing test data to validate product specifications and continuous improvement of products and processes. Works in a team-based project environment interacting with mechanical fluidic and applications engineers.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops LabVIEW programs to operate automated test equipment as well as assembly fixture automation.
• Designs and develops test equipment, standard operating procedures, and training, etc. appropriate to the product being produced including test fixture and measurement sensor interface design.
• Deploys test equipment through change control consistent with product life cycle practices.
• Participates in product design, representing testability of our product.
• Develops prototype test tools in development to prove out designs.
• Develops, evaluates, and improves test methods, processes and procedures across the division.
