Our client, a leader in the real estate and home-building industry, is seeking a Residential Design Manager to lead the preparation, updating, and maintenance of architectural plans and documents. Based on-site in Dallas, Texas, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to shape the architectural library for residential homes, sales offices, and model complexes while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities :

• Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed residential plans, including floor plans, roof plans, elevations, sections, and electrical layouts.
• Supervise design phases with multiple departments to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain a log of plan changes, communicate updates with internal teams and consultants, and ensure smooth coordination.
• Compile and submit design review packages and standard plans per community and local requirements.
• Research and summarize building codes, zoning, and technical documents to streamline architectural submittals.
• Ensure design compliance with municipal codes and specifications.
• Collaborate with Architectural Review Committees, Structural Engineers, and other external teams for effective project execution.
• Perform quality control reviews of architectural documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
• Provide guidance to builders on design specifications and corrections.
• Supervise and manage the daily activities of a Senior CAD Drafter.
