SAP S / 4HANA Technical Architect (Security Architecture)

Role Overview Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a highly skilled SAP S / 4HANA Technical Architect specializing in Security Architecture to provide strategic guidance and technical expertise during the RFP phase.

This engagement is a paid opportunity with the potential to evolve into a long-term project role contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities Design and implement SAP S / 4HANA security architecture, including role-based access controls, authorization concepts, and compliance standards.

Provide technical leadership on system integration, identity management, and overall SAP landscape security.

Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and other architects to align security solutions with enterprise objectives.

Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies.

Support the creation of security documentation for the RFP response and ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

Deliver ongoing support and oversight of security controls during implementation if the contract is awarded.

Required Qualifications Extensive experience as a SAP S / 4HANA Technical Architect , with specialization in Security.

Strong expertise in SAP authorization concepts, GRC, Identity Management, and compliance frameworks.

Proven ability to design and implement secure, scalable system architectures.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in enterprise or government environments.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications SAP Security or GRC certifications.

Experience supporting federal, higher-education, or public sector implementations.

Knowledge of security standards such as NIST, SOX, GDPR, or FedRAMP.
