Responsibilities
- Support the Space Systems Development Department (SSDD) of the Naval Center for Space Technology (NCST), an organization within the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL).
- Engage in advanced research and development for scientific, technical, and engineering efforts related to the development and integration of C4ISR systems.
- Work full-time onsite at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC.

Qualifications
Required
BS Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer ScienceMinimum relevant experience of twelve (12) yearsDoD granted TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to maintain it throughout employmentDesired
Experience applying software development methodologies and practices, including traditional structured programming and object-oriented programming techniques, and broad utilization of current software development tools within numerous requirements for planning, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of complex technical software systemsExperience in producing technical and user documentation, training, and system orientation, and consulting with related development teams throughout the software development life cycleExperience in all aspects of software development supporting complex Multi-INT processing from initial planning and design to final installation and maintenanceExperience with enterprise computing and architecture design capability for ground-based analysis systems, including system information modeling and database designExperience incorporating system architecture using enterprise design, business process modeling (BPM), workflow implementation, and web-based / semantic-based development methodologiesExperience developing and implementing databases to store raw data collection and Multi-INT fusion products necessary to support dissemination to the WarfighterExperience leveraging knowledge of terrestrial and space surveillance methodologies, sensor technologies and capabilities, and ability to envision new modes of operation via an evolutionary development processAbility to monitor wage and salary budgets and expense account data to effect control of established budget factors and policy limitations, ensuring fiscal responsibility in compliance with Government and program requirements, managing MDA integrated project schedule and financial tracking, maintaining MS ACCESS database to manage and report on financial execution status to sponsors, and developing proposals for new and ongoing MDA efforts#J-18808-Ljbffr
