Your impact
- Tackle expert-level break-fix and PM : pinpoint root causes, tear down and rebuild, replace defective parts, and validate results through mechanical and electrical tests.
- Identify and procure repair parts; recommend cost- and reliability-improving alternatives.
- Independently execute maintenance to recognized industry standards.
- Collaborate with the Planner / Scheduler to streamline and optimize preventive maintenance.
- Run machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder, other metalworking tools) to make / repair parts; weld as required.
- Uphold 5S and impeccable housekeeping.
- Lead / participate in CI projects, using formal tools to achieve process improvements and measurable savings.
- Coach less-experienced techs and support project teams through expert contributions and hands-on training.
- Troubleshoot sophisticated control systems, resolving hardware, software, and configuration issues.
- Leverage predictive maintenance technologies to capture performance data, analyze trends, and advise actions.
- Keep CMMS records complete and current; review equipment history and analyze data to guide decisions.
- Engage in continuous learning : on-the-job training and self-study.
- Work safely—adhere to all policies, procedures, and technical instructions; maintain strong situational awareness.
Must-haves
High school diploma or GED.Associate degree (technical) plus 5+ years in a relevant industry—or 7+ years of industry experience.Proficiency with predictive technologies, precision alignment, and process equipment maintenance.Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems; skilled in diagnosing issues and executing repairs.Comfort with basic and specialized hand tools.Experience with vibration analysis or laser interferometer work; precision alignments.Willingness to travel as needed.Physical demands & environment
