A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - ICU Adult Job Details : - Provide critical care nursing to patients who have suffered heart attacks, stroke, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress, or other severe medical issues - Assess patient conditions and develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans - Treat wounds and provide advanced life support to critically ill patients - Assist physicians in performing various medical procedures - Monitor and record patient vital signs continuously - Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors, and other critical medical equipment - Adjust ventilator settings and IABP as needed - Administer intravenous fluids and medications - Perform suctioning procedures as required - Collaborate with critical care team members for optimal patient outcomes - Respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards and protocols - Act as patient advocate and provide education and support to patient families - Care for pre- and post-operative patients as assigned - May be responsible for occasional pediatric / adolescent patient care - Must float between Lander and Riverton campuses based on facility census needs - Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, and PALS / ENPC (American Heart Association) - TNCC certification preferred but not required - Wyoming RN license required - Minimum 2 years recent ICU nursing experience required Facility : This healthcare organization operates multiple campus locations providing comprehensive medical services to the community.
