Primary Purpose

As a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, you will oversee daily group sessions led by the CADC, provide assessments, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive behavioral health care.

Qualifications

Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS)

Two or more years of relevant experience preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to document effectively in EMR systems

Experience working with adults with disabilities, mental health diagnoses, or substance abuse issues

Knowledge of behavioral health care, assessments, counseling, and motivational interviewing

Familiarity with HIPAA laws and confidentiality standards

Experience in social work, intake process, or leading group therapy

Major Responsibilities

Conduct intake assessments, review medical histories, and develop individualized care plans

Evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate support services

Refer clients to community resources and coordinate care with other providers

Monitor progress and maintain detailed treatment records

Provide individual and group counseling, including crisis intervention

Ensure client safety and compliance with HIPAA regulations

Engage in outreach, marketing for referrals as needed
