Job Summary :

Join a global wafer support team responsible for maintaining IT operations at advanced semiconductor manufacturing sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth factory performance by managing IT infrastructure, supporting systems compliance, and providing frontline help desk assistance. The position involves rotating 12-hour shifts, delivering direct support to factory floor systems, and engaging in global initiatives to enhance IT services.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver onsite IT help desk support in a 12-hour rotating DAY / NIGHT shift schedule.

Install, maintain, and secure Factory PCs in line with company standards.

Conduct routine security patching to mitigate vulnerabilities on factory systems.

Ensure full compliance with information security standards including antivirus, Windows updates, and endpoint management.

Support global IT projects aimed at upgrading or enhancing factory systems and infrastructure.

Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site, escalating where necessary.

Maintain desktop software license compliance.

Monitor system alerts and performance dashboards; act promptly to maintain service quality.

Support wafer floor software and data center-hosted solutions on Factory PCs.

Accurately record, track, and resolve support tickets with high customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure adherence to organizational standards and practices.

Assist with planned maintenance and provide shift flexibility as needed.

Develop light automation scripts and utilize GenAI to streamline solutions.

Required Experience :

Proven experience with PC setup and installation.

Strong command of Windows and / or Linux operating systems.

Effective troubleshooting of both hardware and software.

Experience working independently in a fast-paced support environment.

Prior help desk or application support exposure.

Willingness to work 12-hour rotating DAY / NIGHT shifts.

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Coding and scripting capabilities.

IT project participation or execution experience.

Support experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.

Familiarity with ServiceNow, Freshworks, or JIRA platforms.

Coursework, certification, or a degree in IT-related disciplines.

Required Skills :

Windows / Linux OS proficiency

Help desk support and PC troubleshooting

Information security compliance (AV, patching, etc.)

Preferred Skills :

Automation or scripting development

Factory IT systems support

IT ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA)

GenAI solution integration

Strong customer service and communication skills

Additional Skills :

Endpoint inventory management

Monitoring dashboards and alert response

Software license adherence

Working knowledge of desktop infrastructure in manufacturing setups
