Some responsibilities include :

Takes an active role in direct resident assessment and care;

Administers medication and / or treatment and documentation of same to residents;

Responsible for clinical documentation related to resident activity;

Assists in developing and implementing resident care plan and nursing care plan;

Counts and records class drugs when beginning and ending shift;

Communicates pertinent data to charge nurse, superior and / or physician;
