We're seeking an experienced IT Manager to take charge of the company's technology operations and lead a team responsible for IT systems, infrastructure, and business applications. This role will drive the company's technology strategy by aligning systems with business priorities, overseeing the ERP platform (Microsoft D365), and supporting operational excellence across distribution, warehousing, and manufacturing.

You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to manage end-to-end project lifecycles—from requirements gathering through deployment, training, and change management. The role includes budgeting, vendor evaluation, and strategic planning to enhance the company's technology capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to support and improvement initiatives across US, Canada, and Mexico operations. Experience with EDI processes and enterprise system integration is also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead IT operations and staff across all technology areas of the company
  • Oversee and maintain the company's ERP system (Microsoft D365), ensuring stability and functionality
  • Manage support processes and technology use in manufacturing and distribution environments
  • Partner with executive leadership to plan and execute IT projects, including design, implementation, testing, and training
  • Ensure timely completion of projects within scope and budget
  • Evaluate and recommend technology tools, hardware, software, and vendors
  • Drive the use of data and technology to support long-term business goals
  • Provide hands-on support for IT infrastructure, reporting tools, and user training
  • Oversee and support EDI processes, system changes, and integration efforts
  • Support international locations including Canada and Monterrey, Mexico
  • Ensure the team follows industry best practices in system management and support

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience leading IT and ERP implementations, including system rollouts and support
  • Proven ability to manage teams and lead cross-functional technology projects
  • Strong skills in project management, communication, and organizational change
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a high-transaction environment
  • Knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and business process design
  • Background in distribution and manufacturing operations (receiving, shipping, inventory)
  • Experience in multi-site or multi-division organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Windows-based environments and related tools
  • Ability to manage budgets and deliver results on time
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and analytical skills
  • Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation and teamwork mindset
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and security best practices
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and stay detail-oriented
