Residential Superintendent

Saint Petersburg, FL

Direct Hire | Immediate Need

TempExperts is seeking an experienced Residential Superintendent for a premier residential construction company in the St. Pete FL area. This role is perfect for a highly organized and detail-oriented construction professional with strong leadership skills and a proven background in managing multiple subcontractors and working closely with general contractors.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations for residential construction projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, floors, windows, and electrical work.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of 10+ subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and schedules.
  • Plan project timelines 2–4 weeks in advance, keeping projects on track and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control, code compliance, and adherence to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, schedules, and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and contractors to ensure clear expectations and deliverables.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent in residential construction.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising multiple subcontractors on-site.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with general contractors on residential projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office preferred.
