About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Certifications : BLS, NRP (within 6 months of hire), ACLS (within 1 year of hire), Fetal Monitoring

Must-Have : Nursing Degree; Travel experience preferred; Required to float to like units as needed

Description :

RN needed for a busy Labor and Delivery unit.

3 years of experience preferred; 2 years required.

Travel experience preferred.

Required certifications include BLS, NRP (within 6 months of hire), and ACLS (within 1 year of hire).

Fetal monitoring experience is required.

Candidates must possess a nursing degree and a valid RN license.

Breastfeeding education must be completed within 90 days of hire.

Candidates are expected to adhere to patient care protocols and practices.

Experience with high-risk deliveries and various labor and delivery procedures is essential.

Skills required include administration of medications, labor support, and patient assessment.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple births.

The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration and a range of patient care services.

Familiarity with charting systems is necessary for documentation and patient management.

Floating to like units may be necessary based on patient needs.

COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions considered.

Flu vaccination is required, with exemptions also applicable.
