Description
Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is currently seeking an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join our team serving the Waukesha County Birth to Three program.
This is a part-time opportunity, approximately 20 - 25 hours per week.
Birth to Three provides early intervention services in home to children and their families. We work directly with children on areas of development to bring the child up to age level while coaching parents and providing them tools and strategies to assist in bring the child up to the desired development level.
The Teacher-Special Education completes eligibility evaluations on children with developmental concerns and provides early intervention services, as a team member, to families with children who qualify for the program. Provides early intervention services designed to enhance child development within the context of family, focusing on strategies that promote parent-child interaction and functional skill development.
