Responsibilities
- Teaches CPR and first aid training courses at a variety of times and locations
- Provide hands-on instruction and demonstration of CPR techniques, including chest compressions, rescue breathing, and AED use
- Stay current on CPR and first aid guidelines, updates, and best practices
- Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
- Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner
- Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
- Meet with and advise students before or after class or by appointment, via electronic communication or other appropriate methods
- Evaluate students to measure progress and inform students of their progress in a timely manner
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
- Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
- Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned
