DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Administrative Officer provides advanced professional accounting and auditing work in the classification, analysis, and reporting of financial data associated with the Game Commission's administrated oil, gas, and mineral (OGM) recovery leases and agreements. You can expect to perform a variety of accounting, auditing, and data management duties to assist the oil, gas, and mineral recovery program. Work includes a primary focus on accounting for and auditing royalty revenue and contract compliance. This professional communicates with natural gas operators regarding payment issues and questions. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining oil, gas, and mineral royalties and production data to ensure timeliness of revenue transmittal, accuracy of data records, and lease compliance. You will have the opportunity to serve as the lead for all internal audits for unconventional operators.
