Music Minister Job at USMB in Hillsboro

Music Minister : Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church is seeking a part-time music minister. The most basic requirement for the music minister is to be effective at leading people in worship through song. Ability to play a “lead instrument” is desirable, but not required. In addition to musical skill, he or she must be able to lead and organize volunteers and perform many administrative tasks connected to planning the worship service. The position requires positive, continual communication with pastors, staff, and volunteers.

The music minister will work approximately 12 to 15 hours per week. The weekly schedule will include a planning meeting with the Lead Pastor, Sunday morning rehearsal and worship, and one evening rehearsal. Some flexibility in the duties and schedule will be considered. The music minister works under the direct supervision of the lead pastor.
