• Prioritizes and organizes delivery of nursing care; accepting a variety of assignments and consulting with other disciplines as appropriate.\n
• Assists in staff development activities, including orienting, instructing and training others, emphasizing departmental, as well as interdepartmental cooperation and teamwork.\n
• Demonstrates sensitivity to patient's comfort and privacy and expresses interest in their progress and aids patients and families as needed in times of stress or crisis.\n
• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.\n
• Documents patient care given.\n
• Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.\n
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.\n
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual / psychosocial support needs.\n
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and / or family and provides patient / family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.\n

• Current state RN license\n
• 2 years Acute Care Experience\n
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 14 days of hire.\n
