The Opportunity
Are you ready to be part of a fast-paced, hands-on team that makes a real impact? As an Operations Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting our receiving operations. This role offers more than just daily tasks, it offers a dynamic and diverse work environment where every day brings something new.
Working primarily in a clean, organized warehouse at a mobile workstation, you'll inspect and receive medical equipment returns, as well as participate in a range of operations, from inventory management to order fulfillment and product returns.
The ideal candidate should have strong computer and typing skills, as we use custom business management software for daily operations.

Key Responsibilities :
- Handle and manage inventory in compliance with company and ISO 13485 standards
- Pull and prepare orders from the sales team for timely shipment
- Assist with cycle counts, write-offs, and inventory changes
- Respond to internal inventory requests to support customer service
- Receive, package, and process returned items
- Participate in warehouse harvesting, crate building, and return workflows
- Operate forklifts and hand trucks with care and efficiency
- Meet production and quality standards across all tasks
- Investigate parts and support scrap documentation
- Manage and update Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Follow Lean and 5S practices to drive operational improvements
- Stay compliant with safety and ISO 13485 quality procedures
- Update work instructions and documentation as required
- Participate in on-call rotation for operational support
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities you'll need for this opportunity :
High school diploma or GED1-3 years of warehouse or order fulfillment experienceForklift certification (preferred)Familiarity with ISO and quality procedures is a plusAbility to work in a fast-paced office / warehouse setting and handle multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Good mechanical abilities and hands-on problem-solving skills.Experienced with warehousing and inventory systemsStrong communication and documentation skillsValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to travel as needed (domestically)Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookExperience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central is a plusAbility to stand or sit for long periodsAbility to lift and / or move items over 50 poundsProactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindsetWhy we love DirectMed, and why you will too!
