About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years experience required in a hospital setting.

License : Valid Nursing License required.

Certifications : BLS and ACLS required; NIH preferred.

Must-Have :

• Cardiac experience (self-rating of 3 or above)
• Basic dysrhythmia training preferred (self-rating of 3 or above)

Description :

This position involves providing patient care in a medical-surgical unit.

The nurse will typically work with a patient ratio of 1 : 5, with a chance for 1 : 6-7.

Candidates must be willing to work weekends, with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period.

The nurse will care for a diverse patient population, including those with mental health diagnoses.

Daily census in the unit is approximately 24 patients, with 46 beds available.

The facility has a zero-fault attendance policy which counts missed shifts as unexcused.

Candidates must commit to going into the lab within 48-72 hours of signing.

No additional time off will be granted after submission, with a maximum of 5 days allowed in a 13-week assignment.

No holidays or specific scheduling requests will be accommodated.

Knowledge of EPIC charting system is required.

Candidates must have a self-rating of 3 or above in core skills relevant to cardiac care and dysrhythmias.
