Responsibilities Position is based in a busy hospital operating room department Performs a range of procedures including open heart, medical, and orthopedic surgeries Day shift schedule from 06 : 45 to 15 : 15, Monday through Friday Five 8-hour shifts per week with potential for extended hours based on case load On-call required : one night every 2 weeks and one weekend every 6 weeks Uses Epic EMR with proficiency required Role involves assisting with various surgical procedures in a high-volume OR setting Must be flexible to work extended hours based on surgical case load On-call responsibilities include occasional nights and weekends Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided by the facility Testing and vaccination requirements such as drug screening, PPD, flu, and COVID vaccination may apply Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers Requirements Active IL RN license required Minimum of 1 year recent operating room experience BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association or Red Cross required PALS and NIHSS certifications preferred Epic EMR experience is mandatory Familiarity with multi-specialty surgical cases, including open hearts and orthopedics Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619845.
