Staff Accountant
Lisa Cole with Robert Half is currently looking for a meticulous staff accountant to join our client. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and contributing to key financial reporting. Responsibilities :
Prepare and execute month-end close processes, including bank and credit card reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments.
Manage accounts payable operations by entering vendor invoices, generating checks, and processing payments.
Record daily deposits and ensure timely updates to financial records.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, providing analysis to support organizational decision-making.
Coordinate audit preparation by sending and tracking confirmations and liaising between internal teams and external auditors.
Maintain the general ledger with accuracy and attention to detail.
Support payroll processing tasks, including managing entries and ensuring compliance.
Collaborate with the finance team to enhance workflows and improve financial systems.
Contribute to special projects related to financial operations as needed.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in journal entries and general ledger management.
Strong skills in reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
