A well-established and growing construction management and engineering firm is looking to bring on a Project Manager to oversee State Parks and DOT infrastructure projects across Columbia County, NY.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced civil project manager who enjoys being outdoors, working with clients, and managing meaningful projects that improve public spaces and transportation networks across New York State.

The projects include roadway and bridge rehabilitation, park trail systems, and site improvements - combining technical complexity with community impact.

Your Role

Oversee day-to-day construction activities on park roads, bridges, and pathways.

Manage contractors, schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure smooth delivery.

Work closely with clients, engineers, and field staff to maintain alignment and quality.

Handle submittals, requisitions, change orders, and progress reports.

Lead with a focus on safety, communication, and accountability.

What We're Looking For

10+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years in site civil work.

NYSDOT experience required, including familiarity with payment processing, contract administration, and construction inspection standards.

NICET Level III, PE, or CCM certification a plus.

OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Why This Role Stands Out

This firm has quietly become one of the top construction management organizations in the Northeast, known for delivering complex infrastructure and public works projects with precision and integrity.

You'll be joining a team that believes in collaboration, long-term stability, and professional growth. They invest heavily in employee development - from certification support to mentorship and continuing education - and have a genuine reputation for taking care of their people.

They also offer a competitive total compensation package ( $140K-$180K ), 401(k) with company match, comprehensive health benefits, and flexible work-life programs that allow you to thrive both professionally and personally.

If you're looking for a role where you can take the lead on visible, high-impact projects while working with a respected and supportive team - this is an opportunity worth exploring.
