Job Description :

As a Senior Accountant at Easy Street Capital, you will convert detailed loan-level data from multiple sources into timely, GAAP-compliant financial statements. We are looking for a highly organized and driven individual to join our Accounting Team at the premier private lender in Texas. Youll get to work at a fun, fast-paced, and growing company in one of our vibrant downtown offices, or as a remote worker.

Responsibilities will be focused on financial reporting, while also providing cross-functional support to operational teams and seeking to proactively add value to the Easy Street Capital debt platform.

Responsibilities

• Be an essential part of our month-end close process by recording journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, conducting flux analyses, and ensuring close is timely
• Be a key player in developing process improvements to streamline close and build scalable solutions to support the growth of Easy Street Capital
• Majorly contribute to external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Compile support for various tax filings and own assigned regulatory reporting tasks
• Assist in researching technical accounting matters
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reporting in support of Leadership
