PAY, BENEFITS, & SCHEDULE

As a Professional Painter, you work full-time year-round from Monday to Friday, with the expectation to be onsite 5 minutes early .

Your hourly pay ranges from $20 to $23.00, and you have the potential for advancement, typically moving up to P2 within 12 to 18 months based on your performance .

While in this painter role, you also enjoy one week of paid time off annually, along with medical insurance and a retirement plan that includes an employer match. Additionally, you benefit from ongoing mentorship to help you grow in your role .

THE TYPE OF PROFESSIONAL PAINTER WE'RE LOOKING FOR

As a Professional Painter (P1), your day begins early, arriving a few minutes ahead of schedule, fully prepared and dressed in approved, professional attire. You review the work order, organize your tools, and set up a clean, efficient workspace with little to no supervision. From prepping surfaces and selecting the correct primers to dialing in a sprayer and delivering smooth, consistent finishes, you apply Pearl's Best Known Methods (BKMs) to ensure high-quality results on every project. You monitor your production rates, troubleshoot challenges, and maintain clear communication with clients and team members alike. You're also a resource for Apprentices, helping to model proper techniques and offer guidance when needed. Every task you complete brings you closer to your goals, as this role is a key step in a defined career path : A1 → A2 → P1 → P2 → S1 → S2 → JSM → PM. With consistency and focus, you're building a strong future in the professional painting industry.

We're searching for a Professional Painter who can meet these qualifications :

• 1 year of hands-on residential interior and exterior repainting experience
• Physical ability to perform the demands of the job (including ladder work up to 40ft, lifting, etc.)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work full-time in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area
• Smartphone with a data plan
