DIETARY COOK
We are seeking a dependable and experienced DIETARY COOK to prepare nutritious and appealing meals for our residents. This position plays an important role in supporting residents’ health and satisfaction through quality food preparation and service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Prepare meals according to approved menus and recipes.
- Ensure proper food portions and presentation.
- Follow dietary restrictions and physician orders for resident meals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Label, store, and rotate food items properly.
- Follow safe food handling and infection control practices.
- Assist in meal service and clean-up.
- Work cooperatively with dietary staff and other departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience as a cook in healthcare or food service required.Knowledge of special diets and food safety standards.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and tolerate standing for long periods.If you take pride in preparing meals that make a difference, we’d love to have you on our team!
