Position Summary

The Payroll Specialist role involves processing client payrolls, supporting clients and training on payroll systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus and the ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process client payrolls accurately and efficiently
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and fax
Train clients on payroll software and HR-related topics
Assist with quarterly and year-end processing and reports
Support agency form completion (e.g., unemployment, child support, workers' compensation)
Ensure overall client satisfaction through proactive support
Stay up-to-date on payroll legislation and product updates
Contribute to additional projects as assigned by management

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of payroll and payroll processing

Experience with hospitality payroll is a plus

Familiarity with iSolved software is a plus

Strong customer service and communication skills

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Experience and Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

College degree preferred but not required

2+ years of customer service experience preferred

2+ years in a payroll or HR-related role preferred
