Position Overview : The Spa Supervisor plays a pivotal role in leading the daily operations of Spencer's, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure while driving revenue through service and membership sales. Supervisors will take on a Manager On Duty role in absence of the Spa Manager, and will assist with supporting the team, managing schedules and maximizing spa reservations as needed. The ideal candidate combines a polished hospitality mindset with strong leadership and business acumen, inspiring the team to exceed service, presentation, and sales standards every day.

Our spa specializes in facials and massages, offering a curated menu of results-driven treatments within a serene, beautifully designed space. The Supervisor sets the tone for a seamless, high-touch experience that feels luxurious yet approachable.

Key Responsibilities :

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

  • Lead by example in delivering five-star hospitality, ensuring every guest feels warmly welcomed, attentively cared for, and genuinely valued.
  • Serve as Spa Host performing all responsibilities from check-in to checkout, including engagement and lounge transitions.
  • Maintain spa presentation standards, including cleanliness, ambiance, scent and sound.
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, turning potential service recoveries into positive experiences.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily goals, guest notes, and VIP details to the team.

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Drive daily and monthly sales goals, including service upgrades, add-ons, membership and package performance.
  • Motivate and coach team members to confidently promote memberships, packages and gift cards.
  • Monitor key metrics as outlined within the spa KPI tracking system.
  • Implement and maintain upselling scripts, and guest engagement strategies.
  • Team Leadership & Operations

  • Supervise daily staffing, scheduling, and team coverage to ensure seamless operations and optimized productivity.
  • Adjust the schedule to be able to cover staffing deficiencies such as vacation requests and staff illness.
  • Support the onboarding and training of new front desk and service team members, emphasizing service etiquette and sales techniques.
  • Conduct performance check-ins, provide ongoing feedback, and recognize team achievements.
  • Maintain communication between the front desk and treatment team to ensure timely room turnover and guest readiness.
  • Oversee end-of-day procedures including sales reconciliation, inventory checks, and closing reports.
  • Facility & Brand Standards

  • Ensure all guest areas, treatment rooms, back of the house, and the lounge are impeccably maintained throughout the day.
  • Support inventory managementmonitor stock levels, place orders, and maintain accurate counts.
  • Uphold brand standards across uniforms, decor standards, and guest communication.
  • Qualifications :

  • Proven success in a sales driven role, preferably in a luxury spa, hospitality, or wellness setting.
  • Strong background in membership and package sales with a history of exceeding revenue targets.
  • Exceptional ability to close sales, upsell services, and drive revenue growth.
  • Experience with POS and booking systems; proficiency in tracking and analyzing sales data.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on both sales and operational eciency.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and supervise a high performing team in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and de-escalation skills.
  • A polished, professional demeanor with a strong commitment to luxury service standards.
  • Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays.

    What We Offer

    Pay range for this position : $70,000.00 per year - a final offer will be based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.

    This position's working hours include weekends, evenings and holidays.

    The pay range for this role is :
