Job Description

An automation integration company is seeking a skilled Electrical Installer to join their team on a day shift. The role involves the installation and assembly of electrical equipment and power distribution equipment for Motor Control Center (MCC) and Power Distribution Center (PDC) buildings. The position requires expertise in installing protection relays, cable trays, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Low Voltage (LV) MCCs, Medium Voltage (MV) and LV drives, switchgear, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), electrical panels, power transformers, distribution panels, transfer switches, and Fire & Gas Systems. The candidate must be adept at reading and interpreting electrical MV and LV one-line diagrams, load lists, hazardous area plans, wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble electrical equipment and power distribution equipment for MCC and PDC buildings.
• Install protection relays, cable trays, VFDs, LV MCCs, MV / LV drives, switchgear, UPS, electrical panels, power transformers, distribution panels, transfer switches, and Fire & Gas Systems.
• Read and interpret electrical MV and LV one-line diagrams, load lists, hazardous area plans, wiring diagrams, schematics, and electrical specifications.

Work Environment

The position operates on a day shift from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed. The work takes place in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility, and the candidate must be open to working outdoors, as many units are too large to be built inside the shop.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tomball, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $67.31 / hr.
