Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 12 / 01 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist Location : Mission Hills, CA Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 AM – 05 : 30 PM) Job Responsibilities and Requirements General : Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of physicians, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging results. The role includes preparing and maintaining sterile fields, assisting during procedures, and managing equipment setup and vascular closure systems. Required Experience & Skills : Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist Proficient in setting up and assisting with complex vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures, including : Angiography (abdominal, renal, pelvic, mesenteric, selective visceral) Embolization and chemoembolization Stent placement and angioplasty Paracentesis, thoracentesis, and liver biopsies IVC filter placement / removal and cavograms Genitourinary procedures (nephrostomy, ureteral stent, uterine arterial embolization) Skilled in equipment setup, room circulation, and maintaining a sterile field Familiarity with vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) Proficiency in Epic charting system (required) Strong knowledge of radiation protection, contrast administration, and procedural safety protocols Certifications : Required : BLS, ACLS Environment : Acute Care Hospital (Magnet Facility) Free parking available Scrub color : any (L&D & OR scrubs provided) Charting : Epic About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies : Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
