Supervises and coordinates the activities of employees. Ensures that customer's needs are met.

Reporting relations include accountability to the District Store Director and Store Manager. All positions except those listed above or designated by the Store Director report to you.
Primary duties and responsibilities include maintaining a positive attitude, generating a friendly atmosphere, providing prompt and efficient customer service, overseeing proper training, handling employee issues, and coordinating disciplinary procedures.
Secondary duties and responsibilities include determining motivational needs, recruiting and interviewing job applicants, staying current with market trends, providing continuous education, recommending merchandise additions, and assisting in all areas of the store.
Knowledge, skills, abilities, and worker characteristics include problem-solving, arithmetic calculations, interviewing, and following technical manuals.
Education and experience include high school or equivalent and one year or more of retail experience.
Supervisory responsibilities include instructing, assigning work, planning the work of others, maintaining standards, allocating personnel, and coordinating the activities of others.
Physical requirements include the ability to perform medium work, visual requirements, and various physical activities.
Working conditions include exposure to dust, noise, temperature extremes, equipment movement hazards, electrical shock, and chemicals.
Equipment used to perform the job includes pallet jack, box cutter, cash registers, knives, trash compactor, cardboard baler, fork lift, computer, calculator, telephone, FAX machine, two wheeler, register computer, ordering machine, use of limited power equipment, delivery vehicle, and related store equipment.
Financial responsibility includes purchasing merchandise and supplies and ordering repairs on equipment.
Contacts include daily contact with customers, employees, suppliers / vendors, and the general public, and occasional contact with federal or state regulatory agencies regarding inspections.
Confidentiality includes access to confidential information such as pricing, sales reports, profit and loss reports, and wages.
The anticipated annual starting wage for this position is $56,680.00 to $79,300.00 depending on experience.
