Key Responsibilities :

  • Equipment Operation : Operate heavy machinery such as cranes, excavators, skid loaders, forklifts, bull dozers, and backhoes to support the installation and maintenance of utility infrastructure.
  • Inspections and Maintenance : Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of heavy equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
  • Safety Compliance : Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Identify and mitigate potential hazards to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with other crew members, engineers, and safety personnel, to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment usage, maintenance logs, and job progress reports.

Qualifications :

  • Experience :

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment operator.

  • Certifications :

    • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and relevant heavy equipment operator certifications.
