Our client, a US Fortune 250 company and a global medical technology corporation serving customers in Clinical Labs, Health care research & Pharmaceutical industry, seeks an accomplished Senior Project Manager Medical Devices

Job Title : Senior Project Manager Medical Devices

Location : Irvine CA 92603

Duration : 12-month contract with possible extension

Pay Rate : $60 / hr - $65 / hr (depending on experience)

Schedule :

  • Full-time, on-site
  • Monday Friday

Must-Have Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree (Engineering preferred : Mechanical, Biomedical, Systems, Electrical, etc.)
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience managing new product development and / or complex projects
  • Strong understanding of medical device development, regulations, and lifecycle processes
  • Proven success leading projects within complex organizations
  • Job Description :

    The Project Management role will lead projects across product development, operational readiness, and commercialization for Hemodynamic Monitoring products, including related accessories and disposables. This role is responsible for planning, budgeting, execution, documentation, and oversight of all project activities to ensure on-time delivery of new products aligned with quality standards and business objectives.

    Responsibilities :

  • Manage one or more medium-to-large scale projects within a program, ensuring compliance with Quality Systems and Design Control Process.
  • Facilitate creation and approval of business cases, coordinating resource allocation across projects.
  • Develop detailed project plans and manage project scope.
  • Execute project plans (quality, risk, communication, staffing, etc.) and maintain current project status for stakeholders.
  • Lead core team and project meetings, continuously improving execution quality and efficiency.
  • Serve as a program management subject matter expert, mentoring peers and guiding best practices.
  • Build trust and rapport with team members and stakeholders, driving accountability and urgency toward goals.
  • Address complex problems, guiding teams toward effective resolution.
  • Maintain momentum and engagement in the face of challenges and change.
  • Influence across organizational levels to drive alignment and execution.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree required; Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, Systems, Electrical, etc.) preferred.
  • PMP certification a plus.
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience managing new product development and / or complex projects.
  • Proven success in leading projects within complex organizations.
  • Additional Qualifications :

  • Strong understanding of medical device development, regulations, and product lifecycle processes.
  • Ability to see the big picture and determine best strategies based on knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a matrixed environment.
  • Effective decision-making and prioritization abilities under uncertainty.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • PMP certification
  • Prior experience with Hemodynamic Monitoring products
